It has been an exciting month or two. Tax season is over and I have a couple of months to get ready for the start of the next. Gail had her hip surgery and is doing so well. I am so proud of her. She is busily organizing pictures from her families past and writing family stories to go with. Barkley who thought it was awful when the ice came on the bay was so happy to see it gone. He waded and was just so pleased. Ben and Angela had birthdays and Grandma Louise has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She will be ok. Found early. Gail and I both got that horrible bug that was going around and lasted for weeks. We are glad to see that leave. But what happened last night caps it. It snowed after it was all gone. Not just a little, 5-7 inches. It is awfulllllllllllllll. I want sunshine and green grass.
I have not begun to even talk about what my friends are going through. Deb and Dave lost their mom, BJ is have struggles with her mom and dad. my sister-in-law has reached the time in her life when you ask "is that all there is". And life just goes on and on.
Gail, Barkley, and I are looking forward to Krista visiting us over spring break. It has been awhile since we have seen her. We are looking forward to hearing from Jessica when she gets back on land from her assignment with the Navy. We are also waiting for Gail to be released to travel so that we can go east and see the kids. Washington in spring time is more then wonderful. We will see Beth and Laurie and Pat, and come back in a way to see Carole Ganim and Jerry Nelson. Maybe Georgia.
Well Sunday morning coffee is ready for a second cup. Need more.
