Going through years of photos saved on discs, thumb drives, and albums to find one photo for friend.  I wonder who will care after we are gone.  It is such an interesting thought.  The day before Gail and I were to marry I took down my grandpa and grandmas wedding photo and on the back was their date 100 years before.

 It pays to talk about a house project.   Example: I am at the hardware discussing a problem I have with stripping paint off of my front porch deck.   As we were looking at product the person who was assisting me asked a simple question "Are the boards painted on both sides?"   Long story short.    Spent the day yesterday flipping deck boards over.  Replaced a few.   After the wood dries I will be able to stain.

Gail loves playing with her plants.  We haven't had as much time outside as we usually do.  One thing after another.  It appears that we will at least have fall to play outside.  

 

 I have forgotten that I have this blog.  Lots has happened since 2011. Mostly our family ebbs and flows.  

Folks have passed, friends have passed, and Gail and I married in 2015.  Barkley passed in 2019 as I was diagnosed with cancer.  All gone! Mother died 2 years ago and Scott and Sara are keeping the house.  

Ben and Kirsten (three girls) lived in Germany over the last 10 years and have just returned to Michigan to live. 

Angela has divorced and has met a fine man who seems to make her happy.  If she is happy so am I.  

Those are my thoughts for now.  I think I will try to keep the blog going for awhile.
